Alexandria’s Story

With a vision to foster economic growth, promote inclusive policies, and enhance public safety, I have been a resident of Overland Park for over 20 years. I am committed to ensuring that Overland Park remains a thriving, welcoming, and secure place for all residents. After attending Saint Thomas Aquinas High School I went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Organization Development from Avila University (2013) and a Master's degree in Financial Planning from Kansas State University (2023). I bring a unique blend of strategic insight and practical knowledge in everything I do. My tenure in marketing, specializing in digital and print advertising, has equipped me with a keen understanding of consumer behavior and effective communication strategies. I bring a wealth of experience to the race! As Director of Operations at a financial firm in Overland Park, I have led financial strategy, risk management, and economic planning efforts. My leadership in the nonprofit sector, including my role as Founding Board President of the Theatre Community Fund of Kansas City and my work with the Arts Council of Johnson County, underscores my commitment to serving the public.

My core platform centers around three key priorities:

Financial Security for Families & Businesses – Advocating for responsible economic policies, small business growth, and financial literacy initiatives that help families build long-term stability.

Equal Rights & Inclusive Governance – Ensuring that Overland Park remains a diverse, inclusive community where everyone has access to opportunities and fair representation.

Neighborhood Priorities, Community Safety & Infrastructure – Residents deserve clear timelines, regular updates, and real access to how decisions are made around public spaces. The future of our neighborhoods doesn’t live in big headlines—it lives in the details: safe sidewalks and well-used parks! I'm committed to showing up, listening closely, and advocating for smart, people-first planning across Ward 5.

“I want to ensure that Overland Park continues to grow in a way that benefits all residents. Together, we can build a city that prioritizes financial stability, equity, and safety for generations to come.”
